About THE AUTHOR

Rex Barton is a passionate writer whose books are based on his incredible, true-life experiences as a former United States Army, Military Policeman; former Law Enforcement Officer; and former Mortgage Broker/Realtor. His unique and thrilling stories provide a window for the reader to see the horrors and heroism of humanity that our serving men and women experience to keep us safe and free. Reading his books will change you.

Soon to be released, his autobiography reveals his amazing life story, especially the early years and experiences that provided the foundation he would need to survive. Having been raised on a ranch, he has always been an avid horseman and cares for all animals. Failures and heartbreak allowed him to grow and gain the strength that would be required of him. Staying fit and healthy has always been a priority; his mental and physical toughness allowed him to take charge of his life and fight for what he believed. Other interests have included surfing, piloting, racecar driving, golfing, and gardening. He has always relied on his faith and need for God; it is all part of God’s greater plan and the reason for his very existence.

He lives with his beautiful wife in the northwest and loves being Papa to their four grown children and four grandchildren. His motivation is to keep writing his next novel as he continues to publish the many books he has already written, Suspense-Action-Thrillers and maybe even a Western or two. His hope is that you enjoy the reading as much as he did the writing!

My Life's Verse

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
– Proverbs 3: 5-7

My Prayer for All Readers

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
– John 3:16
